Arundriel

A bright mane of pale orange crowns the high elf's square face. Long, thin locks are often tied up in a bun. Sharp cheekbones carve angles away from the sharp drop of his jawline. Wide, blunt elven ears point away from his face. A prominent bump rises from the crest of his pointy nose.

Angular eyes are expressive. They're a high elvish shade of hazel. Bright fibers of blue gray are surrounded by a deep royal blue ring of darker material. Bright filaments of orange and gold form shapes and patterns against the celestial backdrop of his irises. A lot of thought seems to be behind them. They analyze everything they see. One can almost feel what lies within if they look closely enough.

Arundiel moves quickly, his lithe figure bounds with elvish agility. Quiet footfalls betray a quiet step.

An old two story building sits at the end of a large market. Bare wooden frames break up the white paneling of the rustic structure. It's fires often stay lit throughout the night, keeping doors open for the travelers who pass through the settlement late at night.

The market's location means people arrive at all hours of the day. It's in a small village located at a crossroads between two kingdoms. An economy formed around catering to these travelers. 'Midston' has a high percentage of inns, taverns and bathhouses. Farmland grows to the north and west, providing steady supplies of fruit and vegetables. This includes vineyards for wine and crops for ale. A large orchard follows a bend in a nearby river.

Merchants like Arundiel Commonbloom utilize the area's high visibility to cater his fine wares to upper class travelers. The high elf keeps plenty of material and patterns on hand and can work clothing up for customers of all classes.

"There's something for all at Midston Clothier", Arundiel has been known to say. He brings high elven ideas on how to build commerce. His business is just on the edge of transitioning from slightly profitable to something more. It will take the negotiation of a few more material suppliers and a few more influential consumers.

The high elf places his business above all else. He makes time to visit the occasional inn for shared drink, song and story. Most of his time is spent in the business he also calls his home. This leads people to believe he's far more serious than he is.

Arundiel tends to be reserved. Most people have trouble seeing him as anything other than a shopkeeper.
